We take children's ministry seriously at Washington Heights! As part of the family of God, children are significant. At Washington Heights we desire to partner with parents by helping develop their children to moral and spiritual maturity.
Age-appropriate classes are provided for preschool through 6th grade children Sunday mornings at 9:00 am and 10:30 am. Class time includes Bible instruction, songs, games, Bible memory, and discovering how God's Word relates to a child's everyday life. Children are encouraged to be participants in the learning process, not just be spectators.
The Children’s Area is NUT FREE – 24 | 7
This means there are no types of nut products permitted in the entire area during activities throughout the week or weekend. Some children have severe nut allergies and this is the best way to keep them safe.
SECURITY AND SAFETY for all children is important. Please sign children in at the the Children’s Checkpoint Area every week.
PICK UP TIME Children (1st-6th) are required to wait in Central Park for a parent to meet them. Younger children will be in their classroom.
