Summer 2024

  • Scioto Hills Christian Camp, June 9-14, 2024
WHBC kids are heading to camp, June 9-14, and it's not too late to register. If your particular age group is full we encourage you to go ahead and sign up on the waitlist. As the camp hires more counselors, additional campers will be moved from the waitlist.

We are also in need of drivers and chaperones to drop-off and pick-up all our WHBC campers. This year we will have four vehicles, plus a U-haul for their luggage. Let us know if you can help in this area.

  • Vacation Bible School, June 3-7, 2024
Prepare to swing into fun as we head out on The Great Jungle Journey! Kids will explore the biblical answers to questions as they set off on an epic adventure from Genesis to Revelation. Amid sloths, butterflies, river dolphins, and dart frogs, kids will sail along on a fun jungle cruise, stopping at seven ports of call discovering how these events shape our world and learn to reconnect the Bible to their everyday life. For PreK (must be 4) thru entering 6th grade. Consider how you can help during (or before) for this amazing week. All current 6th graders are eligible to be helpers this year!

Volunteer in JAM City

We have many opportunities to serve in different capacities in our children's department. Teachers, helpers, nursery workers, choir leaders, decorators, and organizers. Your talent could be just what we need. Most teaching and helpers positions are for Sunday mornings (and VBS). Nursery workers are needed for Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and special occasions. And some jobs can be done during the week, when you are available. We'd love to work with you, serving our God together.

All volunteers go through a background check before serving with children.
