Mid-Century Modern

We could describe ourselves as "mid-century modern." The 50’s marked the decade of our birth, and although that seems both distant memory and recent experience, our lives have spanned unimagined changes in the way people live and look at life.

We became teenagers in the 60’s and matured in spite of the culture.

We became a couple when we met at college in the 70’s and realized that although we were different in so many areas, we had a common desire to devote our energy to serving God in whatever ways HE might direct.

As we came to know each other, we also came to appreciate certain aspects of our experiences that resonated with who we were as a couple. We determined to make those the values and practices that would shape our lives.

This June, we celebrate 40 years of marriage and ministry together. We reflect back on God's gracious hand in bringing us together, allowing us to learn so much about life and to grow our understanding of ways to encourage others along the way.

It is our desire, as we write about our experiences that you will be encouraged and will see ways that God is putting together the threads of your life for his glory as well!

Join us this Sunday for worship – 9:00am and 10:30am
