Serving at WHBC | Skills & Interest Checklist

We have great ministries at WHBC and our desire is to continue doing what we do and do it well. We value and need the people of WHBC to commit to our ministries as we strive to reach people with the gospel of Christ. Over the next two weeks we encourage our church body to complete our Ministry Skills and Interests checklist. Our most immediate needs are highlighted but we would like an inventory of where your skills and interests lie. Completing the checklist does not commit you to serve but will give ministry leaders an opportunity to reach out to you and share their needs. We would like to have these completed and returned by Sunday, July 28.

Forms will be available in your ABF and at the table in the foyer.

JAM City | Teachers & Helpers

year commitment - June '24 thru may '25

Our children's department (JAM City) still has some significant needs for the upcoming year (June '24-May '25). Please consider how you can be part of building connections and impacting the lives of the kids at WHBC by serving in one of these positions.

9:00 a.m. (rotation with other teaching teams)

• Large group teacher - Teach to a large group of children (1st-6th grades) during our JAM Session. Rotation with other teaching teams.

10:30 a.m. (every-other-month rotation)

• Preschool teacher (female)
• 3rd/4th grade teacher (female)
• 5th/6th grade helper (male)

Nursery Volunteers | Baby Boom!

Our nursery is booming with little ones and we are in need of more hands to help on Sunday mornings. Women, teen girls, and husband/wife teams can serve. Most openings are for the 9 a.m. hour, once a month. There is also need for additional Room Leaders. Come serve with us, free goldfish crackers included!

SALT Member Needs | Join the Team

Our SALT Team (Sound & Lights) is currently looking for new faces to join them. This ministry supports all tech aspects during worship services and live streaming. No previous experience necessary.

Guest Services | Join the team

Thinking about getting involved in some of the ministries we do here at WHBC but don’t know how to get started? Join our Guest Services Team - a group of eager volunteers that welcome and assist those who walk through our doors each Sunday morning.
