GET INVOLVED with VBS

We have a place for everyone and there are many ways you can give of your time and energy. Whether you want to help before or during VBS, be a prayer warrior, or want a yard sign, use the GET INVOLVED link above to let us know.

Before VBS

• PREP WORK
  Decorating, building, painting, drawing, cutting, etc. Some tasks can be done from home, others tasks will need to be done at WHBC but can be done during the day--on your time schedule.
• PRAY
  Commit to pray for our volunteers, VBS families, and community.
• YARD SIGN
  Are you willing to put a yard sign in your yard? Help us get your community here and share the gospel with them. We have limited number of yard signs--register using the green GET INVOLVED link above to let us know that you want a sign.
• DONATE
  Your donations of money or purchasing items for us, will offset costs. VBS is free, something we love to do for community. Click here to got to our VBS DONATION page.
• TRAINING
  New this year, teens are required to attend two training sessions. Adults are asked to attend at least one of the sessions, but we encourage you to attend both as we create cohesive teams and a like-minded ministry.

During VBS

Volunteer to work in an area that interests you. Adults and teens (entering 7th-12th grades) are needed to run VBS.
All volunteers are background and referenced checks. If you haven't served with us before, we will be in touch with you to get this completed.

• Adult and teen volunteers are assigned a specific group or area to work with for the week. 
  Small group leaders, craft helpers, child-care helpers, nursery helpers.
• SCHEDULE
  We'd love for our volunteers to be here all five days and build into each of the kids in your area. If you can't be here every day, just let us know what days you are available and we will plug you in.
