2025/2026 Awana Calendar

This calendar will give you a heads up on special events happening throughout the year, as well as breaks during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Registration information 

Another year of Awana has begun. Registration will remain open through the year--if you plan to attend, please register so we can plan for you before you get here! Orders for  books, uniforms, and leader shirts will be taken online, with payment due at time of registration.

• PLEASE NOTE: We never want cost to be a barrier to doing Awana. Scholarships are available. If you would like to utilize that option, contact the church office theheights@whbc.org.

• New volunteers are always welcomed to serve in our Awana program. Awana runs each Wednesday night, 6:25-8 p.m., September through April. Adults and high school teens are eligible to serve in our Clubs, after completing our background check procedures.

      CHILDCARE IS AVAILABLE FOR PARENTS WHO SERVE IN AWANA.

Cubbies, Sparks, Truth & Training

Wednesdays 6:25-8:00 p.m. (age 3, by September 1, thru 6th grade)

Trek & Journey 

Sundays, 6-7:30 p.m., beginning September 7 (7th-12th grades)

VOLUNTEERS HERE

We are in need of volunteers for our Awana program which begins the first week of September. Our Awana program runs each Wednesday night, September through April. Adults and high school teens are needed to fill openings in all Clubs. CHILDCARE IS AVAILABLE FOR PARENTS WHO SERVE IN AWANA.

There will be an ALL LEADER MEETING, Wednesday, August 27 at 6:30 p.m. in E152/153. Please put this date on your calendar.

Awana Clubs at WHBC is available September thru April. 

Awana uses the Bible to teach children to honor God and others. Three segments provide start-to-finish adventure in every club meeting: Game Time, Handbook Time and Council Time.
