MOPS & MOMSnext
First Meeting | Tuesday, September 17
WHBC MOPS and MOMSnext meet from 9:15-11:15 am on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month, September through May. Childcare included.
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, an international organization that exists to encourage mothers who have young children. MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.
MOMSnext (1st-12th grade) focuses on serving mothers of school-age kids, providing community that grows them as they mother. By building a safe and accepting community and providing growth opportunities, MOMSnext seeks to deepen mothers toward finding and sharing the renewing hope of Jesus.
It's a place where moms have the opportunity to:
- make new friends
- share experiences
- laugh together
- learn trusted principles pertaining to womanhood, marriage, and parenting
MOPS also provides opportunities for social outings geared specifically for preschool aged children and their mothers.
We look forward to meeting YOU! Check out the MOPS website for more information about MOPS International.
