To help men grow in Christ and impact their world by providing opportunities for outreach, worship, fellowship, discipleship, and service.
Opportunities
Men's Fraternity (Monday nights, September through March)
This large group/small group event combines the challenge and encouragement of the Word of God in a large group followed by the accountability of small groups that help apply it. Past topics have included, The Fruits of the Spirit, Early Church History, Evangelism Training and Seven Promises of a Promise Keeper. Accountability groups are formed from this on-going ministry.
Retreats/Events
WHBC men have attended retreats at Scioto Hills Camp near Portsmith, OH. Other events include trips to ball games, Bill Glass Prison Ministries Weekend of Champions, and co-sponsored couples retreats.
“Just Us Guys” Breakfasts
Twice a year we gather our men together at a local establishment for a hearty breakfast and a personal challenge.
Service Projects
Men of the Heights is a vehicle to mobilize our men for service projects at the church and in the community.
