Washington Heights offers parenting groups for parents in all stages of the parenting process. Groups typically meet in homes on a given evening. Contact the Church office for details and contact numbers.

The groups cover many topics and are designed for many different stages of parenting and different home situations including:

Preparation for Parenting

• Age: Birth to six months (Couples should complete this class prior to the birth of their child)
• Group Commitment - 6 Weeks
• Preparation for the Toddler Years
• Preparation for Parenting is a pre-requisite for this class.
• Age: Five to Fifteen Months 6 Weeks

Growing Kids God's Way

• Ages: 15 months to Pre-teen
• Group Commitment - 20 Weeks

This group is a starting point for many. Although Growing Kid's God's Way is primarily designed for parents whose children's' ages fall between 15 months and pre-teen, this 20 week core curriculum lays the groundwork for parenting no matter where you are in the process.

Reaching the Heart of Your Teen

• Ages: Pre-teen through the teen years
• Group Commitment: 8 Weeks
  
• Pre-teens/Teens are encouraged to participate with their parents in this group
